Lily didn't come to school yesterday because she fell ill. So I went to see her in the hospital after school. She told me she had stomache often. I asked her what did she had yesterday, she said she had too much meat. I told her that she should have a balanced diet, such as more healthy food and stayed away from the junk food and meat. She thanked me for my advice. this morning, i feel uncomfortable after got up, headache a lot and didn`t want to eat. my mother took me to the hospital to see a doctor; doctor said i was suffering from a cold, he recommended me to eat some drugs and he told me that i should have be a good rest, drink plenty of water; i am determined to do some strengthening exercise after my illness.

Last Saturday, some of my classmates and I went to the Qiandao lake for some refreshment. Suddenly I noticed an old dustman collecting rubbish thrown about by the visitors. He was apparently having great difficulty collecting some small items, especially cigarette butts. An idea struck me. Why not help him collect litter? Much to my joy, all my classmates agreed and were willing to help. So we worked hard together with the dustman and collected lots of rubbish. Then we parted and waved farewell to the thankful dustman.

Dog-tired as I was, I felt really happy. As the saying goes, helping hands are more sacred than praying lips. I truly believe we’d have a more harmonious society if everybody took action. What a fine deed!
